The brief was to create a series of Wolff Olins logos that are curious, that exist in the everyday and have story behind their existence.
Each logo should have its own individual narrative. The narrative then is used to inform a method and the final outcome is a consequence of this. I thought about what can inspire the design process. I researched ideas to do with curiosity and what things can trigger an idea.
The designs were derived from an experience or happening, some came from a more metaphorical thought process. An example of this thinking is the one I made from limbs of sort toys. This came out of the idea of a Cabinet of Curiosity, where new species were invented by fusing different limbs of animals. This reminds me of the design process, combining different elements to create new forms.
