Design a Christmas installation for branding agency venturethree to be used for their Christmas card and party decoration.
An installation like a film set. As his 1930s films were in black and white I wanted everything to be monochromatic. Inspired by the choreography of Busby Berkeley and the forms he created in his routines that reminded me of snowflakes.
I used a chandelier as the centrepiece crashed onto a table looking like it had dropped form the rafters. Giant, laser-cut snowflakes formed a dramatic backdrop for the event. I used clips from Berkeley’s films for the graphics.
