A live project with ARUB to future cast how London libraries will be in 2025.

The Privatization of knowledge. In my view of the future libraries will be privatised, access knowledge will be controlled and information will be censored. (This has already started). In this future a group of “guerrilla pensioners” who believe in the freedom of knowledge will emerge. In a direct reaction of the privatization of knowledge they will start the PLS (Peoples Library Society). The PLS works by individuals offering to open their own personal collections to the public. Each house is a shrine to their lifetime of collecting and gathering their specific collection of knowledge.

The chairman and founder of the PLS is Walter Clements. He organises the society. Once a new member house joins it is added to the directory. People contact him and he works out the best source of information and arranges an appointment. The member house receives certificate and a plaque for their home upon joining.
