I was given the brief from Venture Three to come up with a white world in which there would be a collection of white objects they could project there images onto based on the theme of Mayfair.
The irony or Mayfair’s less than salubrious past juxtaposed with its present. From my research I discovered that Mayfair far from being a place where the rich and noble would want to been seen was in fact a fair that happened in May and got banded twice for its debauchery. I wanted to reintroduce this side of Mayfair’s past back into the present.
I decided to bring the skeletons out of the closet and create an explicit red-light district for Mayfair and I created a scene in which all sorts of goings on could happen. Each object tells a different story of its past present and possible future. This project then developed into the theme for there summer party.
