To design a cardboard human support system that can be used as storage.
Cardboard is used for protection and storage. When do we need to be protected and stored? When we are in a state of unconsciousness, sleep and especially death. Death is something that will happen to us all but still remains a taboo subject. The idea of the project is not to provoke a reaction but to come up with a contemporary solution to the rituals that surround death and human remains.
With most conceptual art you get an idea and not a finished product. I looked to conceptual art when designing the blueprint and then carried the idea through to a finished product.
