My passion for design started with the 18th century interior I installed in my shed as a teenager that landed in
‘The World of Interiors’. The shed has stayed with me in essence, quintessentially a space where one is free to experiment and invent.
I am a multidisciplinary designer with work ranging from The Restaurant on the Roof at Selfridges to the brand expression and development of the 2012 Paralympic logo.
From 3D design and graphics to conceptual creative briefs, my work is characterised by its imaginative exuberance and quirky flair, but always content driven and brand-specific.
To create a sting for Jim Henson’s Production Company called Hit.
To create a 3-d moving logo. Using a 3-d mould we would then cast various materials associated with childhood experiences to create the logo and filmed something happening to them.
For the prototype we decided to cast jelly and film it wobbling. We liked the idea of it looking like a wobbly belly when laughing so therefore use the sound of laughter over the film.
