To art direct a launch event for the revamped design of Grafik magazine.
Create a site-specific piece in the context of a design studio making Grafik magazine the star. As the event was to be held in a graphic design studio this was the perfect location for a launch for a graphic design magazine. I decided that we should use the magazine itself in the space and create some interventions only using materials that would be found in a design studio.
I created mobiles from bulldog clips to extrude the magazine in the physical space, therefore allowing the whole contents to be viewed at once. I created a living wall covered in copies of the magazine for people to take away, creating a metamorphosis during the evening.
