My passion for design started with the 18th century interior I installed in my shed as a teenager that landed in
‘The World of Interiors’. The shed has stayed with me in essence, quintessentially a space where one is free to experiment and invent.
I am a multidisciplinary designer with work ranging from The Restaurant on the Roof at Selfridges to the brand expression and development of the 2012 Paralympic logo.
From 3D design and graphics to conceptual creative briefs, my work is characterised by its imaginative exuberance and quirky flair, but always content driven and brand-specific.
To come up with an animation of Fosso’s work for a concert by Baaba Maal at the Royal Festival Hall.
Abstracted collage and Pictionary. Fosso uses disguise to illustrate how Africa was colonised and dressed up as something else. In the animation layers are concealed and revealed to eventually unveil Africa.
A one-minute stop frame animation consisting of five hundred frames. For a concert at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the Africa Remix exhibition.
